'Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful'

William Morris 1834-1896

A well designed piece of furniture should be pleasing to the eye, practical and durable.

We design and make individual pieces in wood, using hardwoods from renewable sources(as far as possible) and selected veneers.

The use of contrasting woods gives this small table particular interest.

The legs and top lippings are of sycamore, with walnut lines providing contrast. The top is of bird's eye maple with walnut and 'Alpi' making up the backgammon board.

Handturned counters in sycamore and walnut are located in the small drawers with dice and doubling die.

Alternatively, the clean lines of total simplicity are equally pleasing.

This sycamore chest of drawers was designed using a theme from an old mahogany chest, but using a wood more suited to contemporary designs.

These are just two examples of recent work. .We are happy to discuss individual requirements. Please contact us for assistance or further information.
